I have been online for a few years now and spent most of these years giving away free information. Whether it be in the form of articles over at Ezinearticles.com, Squidoo Lens, or on forums. I used to share a ton about SEO, and other traffic generating strategies like article writing.
Overall I know I have helped many people as I get endless amounts of “thank you” messages. But on the forums(especially related to internet marketing), people will ask you for help one minute and stab you in the back the next. That has to be the most frustrating things.
Is it because you are successful? Maybe they hate it because you are. I honestly do not know.
What I do know is it was much easier to earn money and less headache when nobody knew I ran a successful web hosting company. I liked being a nobody…
Today I still help people but from 2006 until mid 2008 I kind of went into hiding. Sold many of my websites and just did whatever the heck I wanted to do. Now I am getting back in the game and not really sure how much I will post about making money online here.
Since I really enjoy SEO I might post a little more about making money with SEO or making money with buying and selling websites.
